CFPilot is run by a sole trader trading as CFPilot (ABN to be added). This page explains what personal information CFPilot handles and how, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What stays on your device

CFPilot's tools, such as Subroo, keep your figures in your browser on your own device. Subroo keeps your subscriptions, amounts, notes, payment methods and receipts in your browser on your own phone or computer. CFPilot doesn't receive this information and can't see it. If you clear your browser data or lose your device, it is gone unless you saved a backup.

Exchange rates and reading receipts

To show overseas charges in Australian dollars, Subroo downloads current exchange rates from public rate services. No information about you or your subscriptions is sent with that request. Reading a photo or PDF of a receipt happens on your device.

When you email us

If you email support@cfpilot.com.au, for example to join the waitlist, CFPilot keeps your email address and message to reply and to tell you when new tools are ready. You can ask to be removed at any time and you will be.

Payments

When Subroo Pro is available, payments will be handled by Stripe. CFPilot will receive your name, email address and whether the payment went through, but never your full card details.

Visit counts

CFPilot may count visits to these pages with a privacy-friendly counter that uses no cookies and doesn't record anything you enter in Subroo.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information CFPilot holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing support@cfpilot.com.au. If you are not happy with the response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
